The ClientX Inbox brings all your inbound conversations into one place — no more switching between LinkedIn, email, Facebook, and Instagram tabs to check who replied. Every message appears in a single feed with the lead’s full profile, intent score, pages visited, and conversation history shown alongside it. You always have the context you need to respond well.

Channels

LinkedIn DMs

Inbound replies from your outreach sequences and direct messages from new prospects. Powered by the Chrome Extension session.

Email Replies

Replies to your outreach email sequences, landing directly from your connected Gmail or Outlook account.

Facebook Messenger

Messages from your connected Facebook Page. Connect via Integrations > Facebook.

Instagram DMs

Direct messages from your Instagram Business account. Connect via Integrations > Instagram.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp Business messages via the Meta Cloud API. Connect via Integrations > WhatsApp.

AI-Assisted Replies

ClientX suggests a reply draft for every inbound message before you open it. Drafts are generated from your knowledge base and the full conversation history so they match your product’s tone and address the lead’s specific question. To use a suggestion:
  1. Click the conversation in the Inbox.
  2. Review the AI-drafted reply in the reply bar at the bottom.
  3. Edit the draft if needed, then click Send — or type your own reply from scratch.
You are always in control. Nothing sends automatically unless you enable auto-reply mode for LinkedIn (see LinkedIn guide).

Handoff to Sales

When the AI detects a high-intent signal in a conversation — such as a question about enterprise pricing, a request for a custom demo, or a mention of a competitor evaluation — it surfaces a Request Handoff option at the top of the conversation panel. Clicking it generates a sales briefing that includes:
Name, title, company, LinkedIn URL, email, ICP fit score, and enrichment data from Apollo (funding stage, headcount, tech stack).
The full thread from the website chat widget, outreach sequences, and the current inbox conversation — in chronological order.
Every page the lead visited on your site, with timestamps, so the sales rep knows exactly what they looked at.
The lead’s current intent score and the buying signals that drove it (pricing page view, multiple visits, demo request, and so on).
Three to five talking points generated from the lead’s pain points, questions, and company context — ready to use in the first call.

Setting Up Each Channel

1

LinkedIn

Connect your LinkedIn account via the Chrome Extension. See the LinkedIn guide for full instructions. Once connected, inbound DMs from your outreach sequences appear in the Inbox automatically.
2

Email

Connect Gmail or Outlook via Integrations. See the Email guide for setup steps. Replies to your outreach sequences route directly into the Inbox alongside LinkedIn messages.
3

Facebook

Go to Integrations > Facebook and click Connect Facebook Page. Authorize ClientX to manage messages on your Page. All incoming Messenger conversations will appear in the Inbox within seconds.
4

Instagram

Go to Integrations > Instagram and click Connect Instagram Business Account. Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page and switched to a Business or Creator account. Once connected, DMs appear in the Inbox in real time.
5

WhatsApp

Go to Integrations > WhatsApp and follow the Meta Business verification flow to connect your WhatsApp Business phone number. Once connected, incoming WhatsApp messages appear in the Inbox alongside your other channels.

Inbox Filters

Use the filter bar at the top of the Inbox to narrow your view:
Channel
string
Filter by linkedin, email, facebook, instagram, or whatsapp to focus on one channel at a time.
Status
string
Filter by conversation status: new (unread), in_progress (you have replied but the conversation is open), or resolved (closed).
Assigned rep
string
Filter to show only conversations assigned to a specific team member. Useful in multi-seat setups where different reps own different channels.
Use the Inbox as your unified command center for all outbound and inbound conversations. Because the full lead profile — including pages visited, intent score, and chat history — is visible on every message, you never have to open a separate tab to remember who you are talking to or why they reached out.
