Every time someone raises their hand on your website — by chatting, filling out a form, or simply arriving from a known company IP — ClientX creates a lead record automatically. You get a complete picture of who visited, what they cared about, and how ready they are to buy, all without entering a single row of data yourself.

How Leads Are Created

ClientX captures leads from four distinct sources. Each source feeds into the same unified lead record so your pipeline stays clean and deduplicated.

Chat Widget

When a visitor shares their name, email, or phone number during a conversation with your AI chat agent, ClientX instantly creates a lead record and attaches the full conversation transcript.

Visitor Identification

ClientX resolves the company and — where possible — the individual behind anonymous website traffic using IP-based signals. Identified visitors are surfaced in the Agent Visitors tab on the Leads page.

LinkedIn Interactions

Lead Gen Form submissions, connection request acceptances, and direct message replies from your connected LinkedIn account are captured and stored as leads automatically.

Form Integrations

Submissions from Tally, Google Forms, and other connected form tools are routed into your lead pipeline in real time. Map your form fields once and ClientX handles the rest.

What’s Inside a Lead Record

Each lead record contains everything your sales team needs to start a qualified conversation:
FieldDescription
NameFull name of the contact, resolved from the chat, form, or enrichment
EmailWork email address
PhoneDirect or mobile number (revealed on demand via Apollo)
CompanyCompany name, resolved from conversation, form, or IP identification
TitleJob title from enrichment or LinkedIn
Intent Score0–100 score reflecting how likely the lead is to convert
Pages VisitedList of pages the visitor viewed before and during the conversation
Conversation SummaryAI-generated summary of what the visitor discussed with the chat agent
SourceHow the lead was captured: chat, linkedin, form, visitor_id, manual

Intent Scoring

ClientX scores every lead from 0 to 100 based on a combination of engagement signals collected during the visit:
  • Pages visited and depth of navigation
  • Time spent on pricing, features, or use-case pages
  • Questions asked in the chat widget
  • Number of sessions and return visits
Leads with an intent score of 70 or higher are highlighted in your pipeline so you can prioritize outreach on the contacts who showed the clearest buying signals.

Lead Notifications

You don’t need to watch the dashboard to stay on top of new high-intent leads. Configure real-time alerts so the right person on your team gets notified the moment a qualified lead is captured.
  • Email alerts — receive a notification email with the lead’s name, company, intent score, and a link to the full profile
  • Slack alerts — post a message to any Slack channel or DM when a new lead meets your threshold
Configure your alert thresholds and destinations in Settings → Alerts. You can set a minimum intent score so you only get notified about leads worth acting on immediately.
